Blue-Collar Crews for Construction and Industrial Sites

On projects where headcount has to arrive on the programme — not eventually — we build skilled-trade and site crews with certificate checks, assessment and a start calendar.

Hiring challenges in this sector

The operational gaps that usually drive the request — before we talk roles and headcount.

01

Headcount tied to the programme

A late crew slips concrete, erection or commissioning milestones.

02

Papers and H&S

Trade certificates, medicals and site H&S rules must be checked before day one.

03

Regional trade shortage

Welders, electricians and mechanics are often missing locally.

04

Housing and transport

Remote sites without a camp/shuttle plan in the brief see higher no-shows.

Crews that arrive on the programme

Site hiring is not a warehouse campaign: headcount is tied to a milestone. A late welding or electrical crew slips concrete, steel erection or commissioning. The plan is built backwards from the site calendar.

Skilled trades and general labour

Crew Critical check If they are late
Welding / steel Process, MYK, practical Erection stoppage
Electrical / mechanical Trade papers, fault-finding scope Commissioning slip
General labour H&S, shift, housing Headcount gap

Recruitment is not a subcontracting guarantee: employees join your payroll, or the work runs under a managed services contract coordinated by Gini Talent. Mobilisation detail is on the Gini industrial workforce page.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which construction and site roles do you cover?

Welding, steel erection, electrical/mechanical maintenance and general site labour. We assess the need by role and certificate.

Do you deliver site H&S training?

No. H&S training and site rules sit with the employer or site management; we check papers and fit against the brief.

Can site crews come from abroad?

If the local pool is too thin, Gini Talent corridors are planned after a ÇSGB pre-check. Permit approval is never guaranteed.

How many people, in which position?
